Europe's largest port combines customs data with labour inspectorate intelligence to target shipments and logistics operators for forced labour risk.
The Port of Rotterdam launched a pilot fusing customs declarations with labour inspectorate risk intelligence, targeting both inbound goods with forced labour indicators and exploitation within port logistics subcontracting itself.
EU officials are studying the model as a template for enforcing the Forced Labour Regulation at scale across the union's 300-plus ports of entry.
