CBP reports its largest quarterly detention volume since the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act took effect, with cotton and polysilicon goods dominating enforcement actions.

US Customs and Border Protection detained over $410 million in goods last quarter under the UFLPA's rebuttable presumption, the highest figure on record. Apparel importers accounted for the largest share, followed by solar components and automotive parts.

Importers who successfully released shipments shared a common trait: complete chain-of-custody documentation down to raw material origin. Companies relying on supplier declarations alone saw near-universal denial rates.
