The government-to-government labour corridor eliminating worker-paid fees now covers 60,000 placements annually, becoming a template for other migration routes.

The Nepal–Malaysia recruitment corridor, under which employers bear all recruitment costs and workers receive contracts before departure, has tripled verified placements and cut reported fee-charging to under 5% of surveyed workers.

The ILO is documenting the corridor as a replicable model, with negotiations underway for similar arrangements between Bangladesh, Indonesia and Gulf destination states.
